The Canon Precentor has oversight of the liturgical and musical life of the Cathedral. As a member of Chapter, and a Canon Residentiary, the Precentor plays a crucial role in the collegiate life of the Cathedral and in its mission. We are seeking a colleague with the energy and ability to help us shape worship faithful to our inheritance and appropriate for our times. The Precentor also needs the appropriate skills to give support and guidance to our excellent musicians.
Applicants should be priests of the Anglican Communion or of a Church in communion with it.
